"Good things come to those who wait"

This work of mine is again related to the pandemic. A lot of us are yet to get back to the lives we used to lead a few months back. It talks about how each one of us is waiting for this phase to get over.

The stationed boats represent stillness, no travel, standstill, and on the contrary, the flora and fauna growing show life, growth, and movement.

The maple leaves falling show different seasons that have passed by and we are still waiting to get over the pandemic.

The single red chair in the room shows the vacuum. It shows how we miss being the social animals that we are. The 4th leg of the chair is hidden and can mean a lot of things but to me, it means "the wait will be over soon".

The painting has been varnished to protect its surface from environmental factors such as dust and ultraviolet light.
